Hailed from Long Island, New York. Hip-hop act EPMD has been active for the last 20 years, first with its debut album Strictly Business, which hit #1 on Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Chart back in 1988. Comprised of Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith, EPMD (which stands for “Erick & Parrish Making Dollars”), unlike most hip-hop artists at the time, sampled funk & heavy rock beats instead. Thus, created a shift towards the hip-hop we know today.
On August 25th, the duo was invited as headliner at the S.L.A.T.E. trade show premiere party in Las Vegas. As a commemoration, Stussy created a series of limited graphic t-shirts for the event. Now, the same tees are available through Stussy’s online store, Stussy Direct. Printed front with photo of the duo at their start, and back with collaborators logos, on either black or white cotton jersey.
